How To Have A Picnic Under The Eiffel Tower
If you dream of going to Paris, I’m sure you’ve dreamt of having a picnic under the Eiffel Tower. Or is that just me? Paris and France in general are known for joie de vivre, meaning “the joy of life,” and nothing depicts that more than summer in Paris. The city is vibrant but not rushed in the summer. There are many people taking leisurely strolls, and many more enjoying the gardens around this beautiful city with friends, significant others, or families. You’ll see people riding bikes, sitting on benches, lots of people in cafes people watching, and many, many picnics. Picnics are quintessentially Parisian, and there’s no cooler place to have a picnic than under the Eiffel Tower.
Yes, it is obviously a tourist part of Paris, but I think it’s worth it at least once to have this experience. You can of course picnic anywhere in Paris, but what’s more iconic than the Eiffel Tower? The park under the Eiffel Tower is free to enter, and you can grab some things from the local market, a blanket, and head over to the park and find a nice spot.
Or if you want to do it in style without lifting a finger, I highly recommend Picnic Like A Parisian. The owner, Tamara, will set up a comprehensive picnic for you, from savory to sweet treats, a blanket, decor, and everything you need to dine in comfort under the Eiffel Tower. She will also secure you a great spot. All you do is show up and enjoy your beautiful picnic spread. It was such a great experience working with her, and my kids absolutely loved it. We had more than enough food, and it was the most beautiful day. The spot she found was tucked away from the crowd, yet still right under the Eiffel Tower. It made for a beautiful memory with our family, and I can’t recommend her enough. She can accommodate your party size and even create custom picnics for special occasions like a birthday or engagement. And if you want to picnic in another area of Paris, she can secure some of the most beautiful spots around the city.
I recommend trying this type of picnic at least once in Paris; it makes for great memories and, of course, photos you can look back on years from now.
