Our Stay In A Dreamy Parisian Apartment - Blueground Homes

The first time I went to Paris, I did not love it. It was dirty (literal rats running around), covered in graffiti, and not the romantic vibe I was expecting. Mind you, I visited for nearly 3 weeks during Christmas and New Year's with my cousin, who had been living there, so I really felt like I got a sense of the city beyond being a tourist.

But this past trip to Paris COMPLETELY changed my mind, like, OMG. I’m not sure if they have cleaned up the city since then ( I visited first in 2017) or the location I stayed in just changed my mind, but PARIS IS A VIBE, and I am here for it, and I now officially LOVE HER.

Part of the icing on the cake for me was the apartment we stayed in. It was simple but well-designed and cozy. We were in the 6th arrondissement, and everything we needed was within walking distance of our apartment. Grocery stores, boulongeries, the train, lots of cafes, shopping, and even a farmers market, and the cutest flower shop just across the street. The best part was that Jardin de Luxembourg was a 5-minute walk away. I was completely obsessed with the neighborhood. It made me feel like I could live in Paris full-time.

We booked through Blueground, which is typical for stays over a month, but in select cities, you can book shorter stays. And one select city is Paris. I highly recommend them because, unlike Airbnb, most of their properties are managed by Blueground, meaning you have legit customer service at your disposal, and they really cater to customers. When we arrived, they even had a welcome kit with dish soap, sponges, laundry detergent, and dishwashing pods. It was such a nice touch to our stay. It’s super easy to book, and the check-in directions are extremely clear. The apartment was cleaned well and set up so nicely for us.

I highly recommend Blueground if you're headed to Paris. Use my discount code bgmissenocha at checkout to get $25 off stays shorter than 1 month, $100 off bookings less than 6 months, and $200 off 6-month or longer bookings.

And if you’ve been looking to visit a country for longer than a month, this is hands down the best way to do it. They have locations in most major cities around the globe, and the prices are great. You will feel so safe and secure the whole time, knowing the company is there whenever you need them. 10/10 recommend Blueground homes. They made my second trip to Paris a dream and helped me create the most beautiful memories with my family.
