How to Book A Vacation Last Minute

I’m not a last minute planner but the way my travels have been set up lately, last minute trips have been happening A LOT. When I’m booking most of my trips, it’s for my whole family so by nature it’s always for a group of people. We recently stayed in a beautiful home in Cape Cod that we got in the middle of the Summer last minute for a great deal. All you have to do is use the search bar and input your location and dates, click the filter button, scroll down to a section of filters called “discounts,” check the box next to “last minute bookings”, and “done.” From there you will see all the available last minute deals during the time frame you’re looking for, as long as you’re looking within 30 days. You will be surprised what’s available. Vrbo has so many epic houses in their collection and it's so nice that you can get a little extra discount when booking at the last minute. We booked a 5 bedroom house that sleeps 10 and it was absolutely stunning.

I seriously could not believe how insane the house was. It had a gorgeous pool with lounge chairs, a hot tub, outdoor kitchen with an outdoor TV, fire pit, basketball court, volleyball court, playground, outdoor shower, game room, literally, all the things. We used every amenity they offered and enjoyed our time to the fullest. It was also only a short 10 minute drive to the beach. My girls literally cried when we had to leave. I may have shed a single tear as well.

The memories we made on this trip were priceless and I’m still in awe that we found this house last minute on Vrbo.
