Book Early and Save Money

I have to admit, I’m not typically the one to book a trip early. I usually book out a month max. But I do this for a living, so I’m very aware that this is not the norm or very practical at that. But on our most recent trip to Switzerland, I didn’t have the luxury of booking later because I was planning the trip for most of my immediate family and their kids, so nine people total. Needless to say, this was not a trip you could book on a whim, and we needed a prominent, comfy place that could fit us all. Enter Vrbo. Vrbo has quickly become my go-to when booking for large parties. Remember our trip to Cape Cod? You can find the most beautiful properties with glorious amenities in some epic locations. And the best part is that you have VRBO customer service to help you along the way.
If you book early on Vrbo (at least two months in advance), you can save over $120*. Booking early also provides a larger selection of properties, including popular ones that tend to fill up quickly. *Average Savings $141. Select homes only. It helps you avoid price increases and gives you more time to prepare for a bigger trip. Plus, you can chat with the host or Vrbo manager to plan activities.
To find early booking deals, download the Vrbo app, search for your desired location, enter the number of guests, and tap Search. Once the results appear, click the filter button in the top left, scroll down to “Early Booking,” and tap it. This will show you all the available deals and properties.
I’m so happy we booked early and found this gorgeous property in the Swiss Alps. It had a magnificent view of the mountains and was well located for visiting the nearby town and sites. I could see us spending a month or longer here; it felt so cozy and was so well-maintained. It had two floors, 2.5 bathrooms, four bedrooms, and even a sauna! Waking up every morning to the mountain views was a dream, and I feel like we got such a great price on such a large home, all thanks to booking early on Vrbo. I definitely recommend booking a Vrbo for your next vacation; it truly feels like home away from home, and their homes are perfect for large groups and families.
